NAAG is committed to driving aquaculture development in Guyana. In this process NAAG continues to assist investors and farmers by providing the best possible technical expertise. There are several benefits that accompany membership with NAAG.

NAAG provides Technical Support in several forms.

1. Production Services – NAAG’s staff are equipped to offer a range of production oriented services, such as production systems management, feed formulation and stock management.
   
   
2. Training Courses – NAAG works with the Government of Guyana’s Mon Repos Fish Culture Station to provide the latest in research and technical training to their members.
   
   
3. Extension Services – NAAG employs extension staff that lends first hand expertise to developing aquaculture farms. Qualified staff will assist farmers through field-visits, on-site technical advice, suitability site assessments for prospective farmers, and water analysis.
   
   
4. Logistical Support – NAAG wants to see the success of the aquaculture industry in Guyana from development and production all the way to the market. NAAG assists farmers by linking to feed producers at premium, linking to overseas suppliers, the procurement of overseas Broodstock, equipment support, facilitation of official requests to the Government of Guyana, working with government on aquaculture policy, proposing aquaculture improvements, seeking funding from donor agencies, and pursuing overseas investments.
